Parish Councilors

The following are members of the Wistow Village Parish Council. If you have any questions or issues to raise with the Parish Council, please contact one of the below.

The parish council usually meets on the last Tuesday of every month in the village hall on Manor Street from 7:30pm onwards. Dates of meetings can normally be found on the village notice board by the bus stop on Parsonage Street.

Henry Franklin

Henry is the Chairman of the Parish Council.

As part of his parish council duties Henry is responsible for the playground in Wistow.

Richard Farrar

Richard is the Vice Chairman of the Parish Council.

As part of his parish council duties, Richard is responsible for the street lighting in Wistow.

One of the parish plan's aims was to improve communication within the village, to this effect Richard has put together and maintains this website to help keep the village informed of all the latest village news and events.

Richard is also helping to coordinate the setting up of the village's youth club, another of the parish plan's aims.

Richard Cook

As part of his parish council duties Richard is responsible for footpaths in Wistow. In addition, Richard is also looking into pedestrian issues as part of the parish plan.

Gordon MacInnes

As part of his parish council duties Gordon is looking into traffic calming issues as part of the parish plan.

Due to rather unfortunate circumstances, Gordon is temporarily absent from the parish council until further notice.

As part of his parish council duties Clive is responsible for grass cutting in Wistow and also sits on the village hall committee as a parish council representative.

Clive is also helping to coordinate the setting up of the village's youth club, one of the parish plan's aims.

Peter Bucknell

Peter is the Conservative District Councillor for Warboys and Bury who attends the Wistow parish council, representing Huntingdonshire District Council.

Peter is also a temporary councillor on the Wistow Parish Council in place of Gordon MacInnes.
