The recent unseasonal weather has had a dramatic effect in Wistow
On Friday 20 July, the recent poor weather and high winds knocked down one of the Lime trees on the green at the junction of Bridge Street and Manor Street.
The local police attended the scene, and within hours the clean up operation had begun to clear the highway and pavement. The once grand tree taking years to grow being reduced to a pile of logs in a matter of minutes.
