Playing Field Vandalism
Recent acts of vandalism reported in Wistow
Vandalism and Wistow are two words that you do not normally find in the same sentence.
However, this no longer appears to be the case as some of the picnic tables in the playing field have recently been damaged and thrown into the ditch.
Three tables in all have been damaged, one of which can be repaired, whilst another can be salvaged from the remains of the other two. This unfortunately requires village funds and unnecessary time and effort to affect the repairs and to secure the aforementioned tables in an effort to prevent a repeat occurrence.
If anyone knows of anything about this, please inform a Parish Councillor, as appropriate steps will be taken. In the meantime, please all remain vigilant against these sort of acts and report any such activities immediately.
