Wistow History Society
For those that may have an interest in the history of Wistow village, a history society has recently been established to research into the depths of Wistow's past.

Wistow has a long and interesting history going back to Roman times,
and possibly earlier. As such a village history society has recently been formed to delve into the village's past, with the ultimate aim of producing a booklet on its history.
The history society have already unearthed evidence of a possible Roman or prehistoric settlement near Hill Farm indicated by large rectangular crop marks.
