History Society Presentation
As part of the Church Heritage weekend, the Wistow History Society put on a show of their work to date.

As part of the village's bi-annual heritage weekend, the Wistow History Society has prepared a display resulting from their research efforts to date.
Althea, Debbie and Jenny collated all of the information gathered from the various members of the history society to put together quite an impressive display in the limited time they had available.
Wistow has a long and interesting history dating back as far as Roman times, and probably even earlier. As such the village history society was formed by villagers interested in delving into the village's past, with the aim of producing a booklet on its history.
If your interested in finding out more about our village's history and would like to get involved then please call Jo Latter on 824696.
