Hot Air Over Wind Farm

Local residents are all in a flap over the new wind farm at Warboys
Local residents are up in arms about the new wind farm located nearby in Warboys.
One local man, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals said "This is typical of the short sighted actions of the government. They build these wind farms producing huge quantities of wind without thought to the repercussions".
Another local resident added "We're sick and tired of getting other peoples second hand wind. If they must have these wind farms, why don't they build them in big sheds so they can hang on to all the wind they generate".
According to a senior government scientist, Dr. Egon Spengler, this is not an isolated problem "This is becoming an increasing problem worldwide. The recent proliferation of wind farms in Europe is now thought to be directly responsible for extreme hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico and tornadoes in central America. We just can't keep the wind in!"
So if you're thinking of venturing out, make sure you hold on to your hat.
In the meantime, it looks like the government plans to continue making a lot more wind...
