Local Crime Down
According to Police statistics, reported crime in the area is down on last year's figures.
The Crime Figures for Warboys & Bury Ward from January 2006 to December 2006 compared to January 2007 to December 2007 are as follows.
Total Crime is down 8.2%, the main areas are:
- Serious Crime down 19%
- Burglary Dwellings down 72%
- Burglary Non-Dwelling down 40.6%
- Violent Crime up from 41 in 2006 to 46 in 2007
- Robbery down 100% to zero
- Vehicle Crime up from 15 in 2006 to 27 in 2007
- Theft from Shops down 100%
- Criminal Damage down 11.1%
- Alcohol related incidents up from 20 in 2006 to 24 in 2007
- Anti-Social Behaviour down 6.3%
